Significant and Unique Initiatives

Developed and launched a unique “Quality Club Award” to uplift the qualitative factors of a club with two different avenues called club quality and club engagement. This award scheme was started in 2016, and it's still being used annually across the district and introduced to the regions, when I was the Region 13 Advisor. This initiative has helped the District to record 195 clubs out of 199 base to achieve Distinguished or more

A high-profile “CEO forum” has been introduced to the district for the first time to promote the Toastmasters Program in the corporate world. We invited CEOs or HR Heads of corporations which are not having a club and introduced the benefits of the program to them at a breakfast meeting by another CEO, who has already sponsored a Toastmasters Club. It paved to charter several more corporate clubs.

Introduced a
“Road Show”, which is targeted at the remote cities to propagate the Toastmasters Brand amongst their communities. It was organized through the clubs in the city, which were then able to strengthen the membership of their clubs as well as open new clubs.

The “Club Retention Chair” position was first introduced in the district in 2016, when I was the District Director. This has shown a great success, where we were able to retain 192 clubs out of 199 based clubs to achieve a very high 96.5% retention ratio with  179 clubs with 20 or more members, and with no suspended clubs.
